Auries Star at Flemington

Harness Racing requires a little bit of luck, a lot of knowledge and the right conditions. It has been reported that the track at Flemington it going to be in as close to good condition as it can be. There was minimal rain last night and it is considered unseasonable for the track to be so firm. This of course is great news for the participants in this race. This race is a handicap 1200 metre race and with a firm ground, it should be fairly good to tackle from any participants view. Although Stavka is the favorite in this race, this event is really wide open. Such contenders as Gran Sasso and Mic Mac really leave us guessing at the final winner.

The Flemington racecourse is known for the straight chute where horses trailing behind can easily snatch a win right under the leaders nose. With the purse of $150,000 and the racecourse looking its finest, you never know who will take the prize. This race is open to all ages as well as sexes. Tune in on August 8, 2009 for the Auries Star Event at Flemington!
